Although we are a general veterinary practice with emphasis on wellness care, we do work in all areas of veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians have interest in dermatology, endocrinology, neurology, alternative medicine therapies, internal medicine, parasite prevention and treatment, eye exams (with ocular tonometry), cardiology, prevention and management of tick disease, feline asthma, animal behavior, pain management, physical therapy, and dentistry.​

OUR SERVICES
The most important component in maintaining your pet's health is the yearly comprehensive medical exam. In this exam, your veterinarian will check your pet's: skin, mouth, ears, eyes, joints, nervous system, lungs, heart, etc.
MEDICAL EXAMS
We offer vaccinations specifically tailored to your pet's lifestyle which could include: Canine Distemper, Feline Leukemia Virus, Canine Flu, Lyme Disease, Bordetella, Rabies, etc.
VACCINATIONS
We have in place a variety of optional wellness programs which assist in preventative medicine and are used to educate you so you can make informed decisions regarding your pets health care. Wellness exam packages are specifically tailored to your pet's age and needs.
WELLNESS EXAMS
We offer limited emergency care during regular office hours to clients only. After hours, call our main number for emergency instruction. If our veterinarians are not available, we refer to Tufts, Westford or Wachusett. Find their information in the Find Us Section.
EMERGENCY CARE
We offer basic surgical services such as spays, neuters , soft tissue surgery, and general orthopedic surgery.
SURGERY
X-Rays are necessary to aid in the evaluation of musculo-skeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary system disorders. We us radiography as part of our senior/geriatric wellness programs, and in the evaluation of many critical and care and emergency patients.
DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
Throughout veterinary school Dr. Baldarelli spent time working in the Tufts Behavior Clinic as well as working with a veterinary behavior specialist. She will provide advice regarding the behavior of your pet.
BEHAVIOR COUNSELING
Regular professional teeth cleaning is important to maintain your pet's overall health. We use ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly. When appropriate, we also perform oral surgical procedures such as surgical extractions. Find out what your pets needs are at a scheduled appointment.
DENTISTRY
We carry a range of prescription diets, appropriate for specific medical conditions and can counsel you on the specific needs of your pet. We also offer complimentary comprehensive nutritional counseling for our obese patients and can help you tailor a specific diet plan to your dog's or cat's needs.

Twin City Animal Hospital was founded in 1977 by Dr. Samuel Yoon. It was originally located on Water Street in Fitchburg. ​In 1984, Dr. Yoon opened the current building , at 869 South Street, Fitchburg, MA.
Dr. Terra Baldarelli, a Fitchburg native and graduate of Tufts University Veterinary College, began working here in 1999. In 2017, upon Dr. Yoon's retirement, Dr. Terra Baldarelli took over the practice.
